Zebra in EMEA has just shipped its 5,555,555th LS2208 to a partner in Poland. In the years since this product was introduced it’s been a steady seller and an important contributor to our market leadership in the ADC segment.
When it was launched, the LS2208 proved to be an instant hit; offering a perfect balance of price, performance and form factor. Within a very short space of time, the device became recognized as an industry standard and over the years it has created its own market with many of our competitors copying the LS2208’s formula.
Through many of you, the device has been sold into all tiers of retail from large multi-national retailers through to corner shops. And, in addition to retail it has been sold into many verticals including postal, banking, manufacturing and healthcare. 
Each year the LS2208 beats previous year’s sales. 2011 was a record year for the LS2208 with Q4 being the biggest quarter ever for the product in EMEA. It’s devices like this that help Zebra to maintain growth and development although not all of them will manage to reach such a tremendous milestone as the 5,555,555th shipped unit.
